Custom domains, SSL, load balancing, and the web application firewall

Overview

Scalix Cloud's networking layer sits at the gateway, in front of every service you deploy. It covers:

• Custom domains — point your own domain at any deployed service, with DNS verification and automatic SSL certificate provisioning. See Domains.
• SSL/TLS — certificates are provisioned and renewed automatically for every custom domain; all traffic is encrypted in transit.
• Web Application Firewall (WAF) — request inspection and blocking at the gateway, with managed and custom rules. See WAF.
• Load balancing — request distribution across service instances, managed through the Load Balancer API.
