HTTP 401 · code: AUTH_FAILED

Authentication failed

The request reached the Scalix Cloud gateway but could not be authenticated. The error message distinguishes the two cases: a missing Authorization header, or an invalid token.

Checklist

• Send your API key as a bearer token: Authorization: Bearer scalix_sk_…
• Create or rotate keys in the console → Settings → API keys. A key is shown once at creation — if you lost it, create a new one.
• Check the key wasn't revoked, expired, or truncated when pasted (keys start with scalix_sk_).
• Verify what a key can do with GET /v1/me— it returns the key's identity, scopes, and rate limits.
